Reading List 10/15/2010

Yesterday marked the release of the WHO’s first comprehensive report on neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). The report has been well received and attracted a lot of attention in the news. We’ve compiled a great list of reads  mentioning the report, along with other articles about NTDs and global health including lack of shoes among the world’s poor, the cost (economically and socially) of NTDs in India, progress in vaccine development within global health, and the celebration of Global Handwashing Day, which is today!
