2011 NTD Awareness Week Wrapped Up

Last week was the 2011 NTD Awareness Week at the University of Notre Dame (check out the 2010 NTD Awareness Week). This week was organized by the student-run group ND Fighting NTDs. Most members of the student club are former students of Fr. Tom Streit’s famous freshman class, “Common Human Diseases,” and they are now spreading the word across campus and beyond. NTD Awareness week included informational sessions, documentary screenings, and a fundraising event at Five Guys Burgers and Fries among other things. Here at End the Neglect, we applaud advocacy groups like ND Fighting NTDs who tirelessly work towards a world without these debilitating  disease.
